Oh summer...! I can't wait! I hate winter since it gets so cold indoors here in Morocco. No snow but a lot of rain and everything is so damp and wet... *yuck* I looooove summer by the sea. We can actually see the Mediterranean from our summer room.:-)
Thanks for stopping by my blog today. I am so excited to hear you are from Chicago. My husband and I came there for a visit in August of 2003 and I found myself not wanting to leave. That place is beautiful. We went to see the Cubs play and it poured the rain. But, we still got to watch the whole thing. I loved the experience. The Cubs are our favorite team. We also got to go see Navy Pier. That was really cool. Anyway...
Your picture certainly makes me long for summer and I remember what Lake Michigan looked like. It was the bluest waters I have ever seen. Thanks for sharing such a wonderful pic. And, thank you for allowing me the trip down memory lane. I enjoyed my visit. Happy WW. Have a nice night, what's left.
I'm a deaf mom to three deaf and hard of hearing kids. The hubby is deaf too. Kaycie, our Westie, can hear a rabbit breathing a half mile away.
I grew up hard of hearing and became deaf at the age of 19.

I actually have been enjoying the few days of lower temps here. I am in Florida and most of our "Winter" days have been highs in the 80's.
I love going to the lake in the summer. Unfortunately, the kids don't like it as much as they used to, so I have a hard time convincing them to go.
Oh goodness that looks so nice!! Only 3 more months and we shouldn't have any more of that white stuff. ;)

Summer would be really great right now!!
I'm freezing in Jamestown- dreaming of fireflies, bonfires, and softball...
I suppose I'll survive the snow, lol!
I would love to be there right now. It's 21 degrees here during the day!! BRRRR
